Baptism: Baptisms are normally held twice a month on the third and fourth Sundays. Baptisms on the third Sunday are in Spanish, and in English on the fourth Sundays. Parents need to register their children for baptism well in advance. Parents and Godparents also must attend a baptismal class. Baptismal classes are held the Friday before the baptism from 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M, in the old school building.
Reconciliation/Confession: Confessions are heard every Saturday at 4:00 P.M. in the church or by appointment.
First Communion: Children must attend religious education classes before receiving First Communion. Registration for religious education classes is held in August and classes start in September. Classes are held on Sunday morning following the 9:00 A.M. mass.
Confirmation: Children must also attend religious education classes before making their Confirmation. As with First Communion, registration is in August and classes start in September.
RCIA/Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults: Adults who have not received one or all of the sacraments of Baptism, Communion and Confirmation may register in the RCIA Program. The program starts at the same time as the religious education classes,
Matrimony: Marriages are arranged through the office of the parish. Couples should apply at least six months before the date they wish to marry. No official date can be established without first seeing a Priest or Deacon. Please pick up a marriage preparation guideline pamphlet when visiting the office. |
