Ministry to Young Adults

​Young Adults Ministry at IHM strives to bring young adults into an encounter with Jesus and to live authentic Christian life. The members come together for prayer, sharing and fellowship. Rooted in parish life and the sacraments, they continue searching for new and courageous ways to spread the Gospel message.

Purpose:
  • To bring together young adults between the ages of post-high school through age 30 who have a common purpose in seeking a redemptive relationship with God
  • To study the Word of God for application to everyday living
  • To come together in faith, fun and fellowship
  • Continue to believe that the message of Jesus Christ is the greatest revolutionary message of all time

Activities:

Young adults work towards becoming involved with all members and/or organizations of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church community. They participate in various activities such as the Breakfast Ministry, Annual Parish Festival, Fiesta Parking and any other fundraiser needed to help the church.

Volunteer work is also done to help other organizations needing help to support those who are less fortunate such as Hope for Haven, Goodwill and the San Antonio Food Bank.
